My Favorite Authors:
I became a fantasy fiction fan in my early teens after my first reading of JRR Tolkien's Lord of the Rings. Needless to say, Tolkien remains my favorite author. However, he had a close challenger for the spot when JK Rowling penned The Harry Potter Series. These two works, for me, are the gold standard of great fantasy writing.
I do have a few favorite contemporary writers who I continually check for new releases from.In no particular order they are; Scott Meyer, Brenda Hasse, Drew Hayes, Robert Kroese, Marko Kloos, Jim Bernheimer, Barry Hutchison, Dennis E Taylor, Rachel Aaron, and Kevin Hearne
My Recommended Selections:

Favorite Editor
Moving from a rough draft to publishing your first book can be scary. Picking an editor that can make the best of your work can be daunting. I was lucky to find editor, Arnetta Jackson. She played a large role in getting The Chronicles of the Manaar: Immersion into a publishable state. I strongly recommend her for your next book.I have provided a link below on her editing service, Line Upon Line.

Favorite Coffee Shop
I had been shopping around to find a good coffee shop where I could get away for focused writing time one or two times a week. I did not find a good coffee shop, I found a great coffee shop. The Daily Blend in Romeo, at the Old Frontier Town shopping center. I am very particular about my coffee, and I think I found the best around there. The wraps and sandwiches are delicious. This is where I do all my creative work, fueled by the great coffee, food, and pleasant people who work here. When you stop in, tell my friends April, Darla, and Sam that I sent you.

Inspired Music
My journey into writing coincidentally coincided with my discovery on YouTube of a talented piano composer stage named Syts. His music became the soundtrack in my mind of everything I was writing in my story about the trials and tribulations of Mik and his band of survivors of the Windbeck fair. If you ever get a chance to listen to his music, you might see some familiar titles. I recommend starting with his beautiful song, Immersion.
